Ah, my first solo lesson in Augusta, KS. Robbin thought I was nuts and asked me if my life insurance covered suicide.

Robbin and I have been married 30 years and continue to enjoy our life together. We're thankful for our Heavenly Father and the many blessings He's given us, and He continues to be the Lord of our life.

Matthew (1978-87, pictured here at 8 years old), our only son, was killed in a school bus accident near our home just southeast of Valley City. He loved to go hunting and fishing and was always willing to help and learn the aspects of farming. His memory lives in our hearts forever.
